Great episode; I was looking up the birds as you mentioned them. The Prairie Warbler is so pretty!

Quick question: what do you mean by "lifers"?

Great question! A "lifer" is a new bird species you add to your bird list. Us birders call our "Bird list" a "life list". Hope that narrows it down a bit better.

The definition of the term “lifer” means the first time one has seen a certain species of bird. Birder’s lingo.

I’ve always wanted to see a horned lark.

Yellow-throated warbler was a lifer for me a few years ago. Very nice bird, I have not seen it in a while, but they’re back, as of right now.

Great music, I love the outro music. Audio was much more crisp too.

I’m also super excited, honestly, that you took my idea for the national birds of different nations. I don’t know much about our Bald eagle, and I’m hoping to learn new information! Love you, brother.

Me too. I think it’s hopeless, like the northern flicker. I don’t get any. 😭😭🙏

Bro wow you’ve never seen a loon?

I used to see them all the time back in Florida.

Yep it was my first time seeing a Common Loon. Yeah they winter in Florida. They're making their way back up to Canada to breed for the summer.
