The introduction...
Hello 👋!
My name is Caleb. I'm a young birder that lives in West Virginia, United States. I've currently been birding for about a year. Birding is now one of my favorite things to do. It is so exciting to get out there and explore God's wonderful creation. Birds have always fascinated me in some ways. I'm honestly not sure what got me into birding though. None of my family members really were interested in birds. I sure am glad, I dove right into the world of birds. Birds are super fascinating in my opinion. I like paying attention to their behaviors, calls, and songs that they make. My spark bird is the Cedar Waxwing. Cedar Waxwings were the first cool birds I got to see. They were foaging for some Black Cherry Tree berries. There were probably about a flock of 15 Cedar Waxwings when I first got a good look at them. The Cedar Waxwing is my "Spark Bird" because they are the one species that got me even more excited.
Anyways, I can't wait to journal more about my birding journey. I hope you guys enjoy and follow me along on my epic neverending birding journey.
Until next time happy birding!
