Welcome back to the Birder's Way, I'm you're host Caleb Shingleton. This weekend I got out to go birding. In fact yesterday morning I rushed outside just as the rain and heavy wind calmed down. Overall the lighting wasn't very good for taking a few pictures, especially since I'm using the old Canon EOS Rebel XS camera. If I crank the shutter speed up and turn the ISO as high as possible it can take decent photos.
The first Chipping Sparrow of the year for me was in a small apple tree in my grandparents yard:
Then a beautiful little White-Breasted Nuthatch randomly shows up at the old bird feeder:
You can't just forget about the cute little Carolina Chickadee, such a wonderful little bird, full of joy, but could take over the world 😂:
Did I indeed almost forgot to show you the fearless little Dark-eyed Junco, here it is:
So which bird is your favorite out of those birds I shared?
Also Comment below what camera you like for bird/wildlife photography!
You're comments are what keeps me going. Thank you for the support birding friends!
Always have an eye and ear out for a rare bird that might just be in your area 😉.
That's all for today, thank you so much for investing your time to read my posts.
Happy birding!

Awwww! I saw my first junco of the year last week! And my chipping sparrow in December, than they went absent, and now they’re back. Mine are looking for hot girls—typical young men. 🔥
Carolina chickadees just get to my soul, Bro. ðŸ˜
